Pacific Institute's mission is to promote individual and community wellness and to advance, disseminate, and preserve knowledge in existential fields with healing and evolving purposes. Pacific Institute supports this mission by promoting global awareness in our staff, students, and affiliates and by creating learning opportunities that reach toward service and compassion in the highest possible sense. Pacific Institute strives toward the recovery of meaning in our lives, that is, a central place of concern; commitment, devotion, and energy from which we can plan and direct our work back to the community. Description

Pacific Institute, founded in 1993, is a fully qualified non-profit organization in San Francisco dedicated to finding new ways of learning and teaching in counseling, education and research in the field of health and care. The Institute as a worldview cutting-edge center addresses health and social services from a holistic, client-centered perspective, helping individuals create healthy lifestyles honoring the spiritual, psychological, and physical dimensions of living. Licensed health and social services professionals, interns, and trainees work in concert with other community organizations and volunteers to provide a variety of services in the fields of education, health practice, and research.
