Throughout December and January, girls in our local troops are collecting cookie orders from families, friends, and other community members. Saturday February 4th from 8:00am-5:00pm GSHNC will be holding our cookie delivery for troop leaders to pick up all their orders at Carowinds in two shifts. This will be one of two locations for troop leaders from all over our 8 county footprint to pick up there packages, so lots of volunteers are needed.

Volunteers are needed to help direct traffic, greet individuals as they arrive, and help count boxes to make sure they received the accurate number.

Shifts will be from 8:00am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-5pm

When people think about Girl Scouts, they think crafts, cookies, and camp but a lot has changed in 103 years. Here at the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council our girls get their hands dirty with bugs and bones, put their minds to work on science and engineering projects, challenge their body and minds with challenge courses and 5k’s, help breast cancer patients survive their toughest moments, and build lasting relationships with fellow Girl Scouts. We serve extraordinary girls in Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York counties and we are always in need of extraordinary adults to help our girls reach their full potential.
