Inspire Educate Serve

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are interested in supporting our Special Events Coordinator.

The events volunteer will be responsible for coordinating details with caterers, senior centers, senior apartment buildings, and health fair coordinators, etc.

We are seeking individuals who are detail oriented, excellent planning skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.

By coordinating these events, you will foster new relationships among seniors, educate the community, and inform the community about resources available to seniors.

Due to COVID-19, 80% of our presentations/events are being conducted virtually during this time. You will assist the program assistant or special events coordinator with organizing and managing virtual events/outdoor events.

Pickett Fences Senior Services, Inc. (Pickett Fences) is a non-profit 501c (3) organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Senior Citizens, founded in 2012.

Pickett Fences improves the quality of life of seniors by providing education, resources, caregiver support, and connecting seniors with the services they need to safely remain in their homes.

Pickett Fences collaborates with various organizations in Prince George's County to meet the needs of our growing senior population.
