SAGE is looking for volunteers to help community members in crisis! SAGE is a nonprofit domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy center located in North Central Washington. We run a 24 hour crisis line to support community members experiencing distress. We are looking volunteers to take crisis calls after our business hours - weekdays only.

You will receive free training - both in house and online; you are free to choose your shift(s). The hours are Monday through Friday from 5pm-830pm and we usually ask our volunteers to take one shift a week (it is flexible).

Calls will be routed to your phone so you can work from anywhere. We always have an experienced back up staff member available for every shift to support you.

You must:

  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Commit to six shifts per month for six months
  • Attend 2 on site trainings and complete the online trainings

SAGE is non-profit organization working towards ending domestic violence and sexual assault. We are dedicated to empowering victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, general crime and child abuse through increased psychological awareness, knowledge of options and resources, encouragement to take responsibility for decisions, and the provision of supportive community. We offer our clients a variety of free services including support groups, therapy, legal advocacy, emergency shelter and much more. We also have a child advocacy center, offer education to the schools and the community.
