Do you have the ability to stay calm under pressure? Do you have genuine concern for others and a desire to be of help? If so, please consider sharing your beautiful smile and warm personality with us at Northside Hospital's Emergency Department.
Our ER reception volunteers serve as the "first impression ambassadors" of our hospital. They also help patients register at our touch panel kiosk, issue visitor ID badges, provide directions and information, answer and place telephone calls to ER triage and other areas ensuring visitors are kept informed about the well-being of their loved one in our ER.
In just four hours a week, you can help us maintain an environment where visitors feel welcome and valued. Customer service skills a must. Volunteers receive full training, and once placed, receive a free meal for each shift they serve and a free flu shot.
Please visit our web site at www.northsidehospital.com and click on About Us. From there, navigate to the Volunteers page and complete the requested forms.
