Communities In Schools of Brunswick County (CIS) is seeking Board Members to join our non-profit organization for a 3 year terms starting the beginning of fiscal year. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in in school and achieve in life. We are an accredited affiliate of the CIS National organization focused on dropout prevention programs and services. We are seeking individuals with time and expertise to assist with visioning, organizational leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, and financial planning and to serve as ambassadors in the community.
