Through outreach, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, IRenew helps Iowans understand how natural and renewable resources offer energy alternatives to power our homes, businesses, vehicles and cities. I-Renew is offering multiple volunteer opportunities in 2016 for Iowans who

  • Can commit 10-20 hrs a month to help fill any one of the roles listed below
  • Understand the link between sustainability and long-term profitability
  • Have a proven track record of producing results

Role

  • Employ online and offline recruiting and marketing strategies

  • Track recruiting efforts and report efforts at monthly Board Meetings

  • Develop training materials

  • Scheduling of volunteers for events

  • Track volunteer committments for incentive programs

  • Attend events to gain context for recruiting efforts

Our mission is to make renewable energy the primary source of energy in Iowa. Founded in 1992, The Iowa Renewable Energy Association (I-Renew) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization. In addition to educational activities, we partner with other non-profit groups in the state to support renewable energy development.
