SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. (the national non-profit organization dedicated solely to child passenger safety (cps) for more than 35 years) is seeking to grow their volunteer force in the Los Angeles County area. SBS USA offers several cps Educator Workshops throughout the year (refer to our Web site www.carseat.org (under heading Calendar, Professional and Technical Training for more information and dates). Next Educator Workshop in Boyle Heights, CA. on January 28, 2016.

Opportunities to work with SBS USA initially involve staffing exhibits throughout L A County with a seasoned SBS USA consultant or volunteer. Possibilities to grow in the position include training as a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. This is excellent experience/resume building for Injury Prevention, Social Service, Health and Safety professionals or anyone interested in keeping kids safe in the car (students welcome).
