ORGANIZATION: Code for Fun

  • 2 people are interested

The students will document their ideas in a design workbook, then use Scratch to create computational artifacts (like games, animations, music composition) using ideas from their lives and interests. They will reflect on their own projects and learn how to provide feedback on other students’ projects. The goal of this class is to increase fluency with computational thinking and programming concepts.

This class offers opportunities for learners to engage in activities that are personally meaningful and relevant, to engage in designing and making not only listening, observing and doing, to engage with interactions with others as audience, coaches & co-creators, to reflect on their creative process.

Volunteers are needed for "After school computer coding programs" in San Jose.

  • No prior experience or IT background required
  • Minimum age: 16 years
  • Background check and TB test clearance are mandatory
