East LA Mock Interview

We are reaching out to you in the hope that you might help San Fernando High School (SFHS) by volunteering for the annual Mock Interviews event.

Description:
This event is a way for the school to help students prepare for real-world situations by pairing them with successful business members for an interview to help them hone their skills and prepare for a modern workforce. There are almost 500 students that need interviews this year. We are looking for professionals like you in the community to sign up at this link (http://www.laep.org/donate/your-time/). Individuals can sign up for four-hour blocks in the morning or afternoon. Each interview last approximately 20 minutes, so volunteers get to work with multiple students each hour. The event will take place on April 19th and April 20th.
