Sponsored by Connectwise and Citi, the Teen Business Challenge is an annual week-end event where teams of teens compete by creating a business plan based upon an app idea that they come up with. There are four rounds representing various phases of the project.Teams can win points in each round, and the team with the most points at the end, wins the tournament.
We are seeking 16 coaches to coach a team through one round of the tournament.Coaches will be provided with the "play book" in advance which includes the rubrics for each round. It is expected that a round will require about 3 hours of the coach’s time the day of the event plus preparation time.Coaches can select which round they would like to coach based upon their expertise and availability.Coaches will also be invited to attend a training session the week prior to the event.
The four Challenges are:
· "The Big Idea" - Creative problem-solving
· "Biz Model" - Concept modeling
· "MVP" - Product Modeling
· "The Pitch" - Organizing ideas and communicating clearly
