Weekend Volunteers are responsible for monitoring our day center while staff is not present on the weekends. The Day center is open to our families from 8 AM till 5 PM everyday. Volunteers assist families, answer phones, monitor entrance and exit, attend to the needs of our guests, and catch up on work or homework.

Description
Family Promise of Lawton Inc. is a hospitality program for homeless children and their families. Family Promise utilizes the local faith community to house the guests during the evening and overnight. At these locations, they are provided with an evening meal, caring & listening volunteers, breakfast and a safe environment for a week at a time.
