Tasks you can assist with are:
- Community Development Projects - EPCAMR has many grants that help Northeastern PA low-income communities have access to healthy streams, cleaner communities, and overall better community health. Contact us to learn more about our current opportunities!
Types of projects may include:
1) environmental education projects
2) community garden & fresh food programs
3) community volunteer events such as RiverFest, ChalkFest, Volunteer Days at local colleges, local park events, etc

The Eastern Pennsylvania Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation (EPCAMR) is a public non-profit. Founded in 1996, our mission is to promote and facilitate the reclamation and remediation of land and water adversely affected by past mining practices in Eastern Pennsylvania. EPCAMR specializes in restoring streams affected by abandoned mine drainage (AMD), a water pollution problem that impacts over 5,000 miles of streams in PA.
EPCAMR is a public non-profit dedicated to restoring land and streams impacted by past mining practices. EPCAMR hold community cleanups, environmental educations projects, and stream restoration projects in order to help Northeastern Pennsylvania recover from historic coal mining.
