Changing Footprints is a Central Indiana based non-profit which collects, sorts, and donates shoes to local agencies such as Wheeler Mission, Dress For Success, Coburn Safe Place, Catholic Charities, and others, to help them help others. Every year, more than 25,000 pairs of shoes are collected by individuals, organizations, and stores in the Indianapolis/Greenwood area and taken to our sorting room at 9302 N. Meridian. Organizations come and sort the shoes during 1 1/2 - 2 hour sessions. We make a real difference in the lives of our youth by giving them a HANDS ON opportunity to make a difference. Each sorter will inspect, pair, and box 100 pairs of shoes or more by the end of their session - and those 100 pairs of shoes will end up right here in the Indianapolis area on the feet of those in need.
WE SORT TWO SATURDAYS PER MONTH:
First Saturday of the month 9 AM - Noon (Jan 7, Feb 4, Mar 4, Apr 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, Aug 5, Sep 2.....)
Third Saturday of the month 1 PM - 4 PM (Jan 21, Feb 18, Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, Aug 19, Sep 16......)
