We are looking for volunteers who want to give of their time and compassion to those on their hospice journey. It may be 1 hour per week or a couple of hours a month. It's what you can do to make someone's time on earth a bit more special and comfortable. Opportunities may consist of reading, talking, playing music, feeding, laughing, run an errand or relieve a family member for a brief break. It could also be rubbing their shoulders, combing their hair or playing a game. It is a unique time to develop a bond with someone you don't know, but someone you'll always have a special connection with because of the time you gave to someone in need during an emotional time.
We also have opportunities for office work, scanning, filing and putting information packets together. Or maybe you knit, sew or have a talent to share with others. We'd love to talk with you more and are open to your ideas!
