Are you looking to have a positive impact on your community while getting a little exercise? Well you’re in luck the Aberdeen ReStore is looking for active community members to help with its donation operations. If you not familiar with the Aberdeen ReStore, it is part of Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna. It is a nonprofit volunteer operated store that takes donations of appliances, construction materials, and furniture. The Aberdeen ReStore sells the donations at a fraction of the cost and uses the money to fund Habitat for Humanity's mission of building affordable homes for low income families.
The Aberdeen ReStore is looking for people to help with processing donations Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Volunteers will be helping donors lifting donations out of their vehicles, moving donations to sales floor, and writing donation receipts. In order to volunteer you must be able lift 25lbs or more.

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Inc. (HHS) is an ecumenical Christian housing organization devoted to building and repairing homes in partnership with qualifying families. HHS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit supported by government, community and private funding.
HHS's vision is to eliminate substandard housing in Cecil County and Harford County, Maryland through action and advocacy.
