The overall food insecurity rate in Boulder County went up by more than one-third in 2020. A recent study found that almost 2 out of every 5 Coloradans now lack reliable access to nutritious food.

Harvest of Hope Pantry is the only food pantry in Boulder that serves everyone who comes to its door. By offering separate shopping times for those with kitchens and those without kitchens, the needs of both populations are addressed. In response to the pandemic, the pantry is offering curbside delivery. Grocery Packers fill written orders for our guests waiting outside.

Households with kitchens can come once a week Monday-Friday 9-11am or Thursday 4:30-6:30pm. And those without kitchens can come to pick up a bag of more ready-to-eat items 5 days a week, Monday-Friday, 12-2pm. We are checking-in everyone outside, either waiting in their cars, or waiting in line with appropriate social distancing.

About HARVEST OF HOPE PANTRY

Location:

2960 VALMONT RD, BOULDER, CO 80301, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to live the Catholic faith by providing healthy supplemental food to Boulder families and individuals in need of food assistance within a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

Description

Harvest of Hope Pantry helps relieve the stress of food insecurity and offer a sense of hope for individuals and families in Boulder. We feel we can best do this by providing an outlet for the re-distribution of food items to those in need within a non-judgmental, safe and caring environment. Donated food items in our community simply need a more effective way to reach those in need. We will focus on the re-distribution of food and donated personal hygiene items.
