At MDA Muscle Walk, everyone takes unique steps to create progress in the fight to end muscle disease. Every small step -- every contribution, every action you take, and every minute dedicated to making Muscle Walk a success -- supports MDA and helps us create a world free of the harmful effects of muscle disease.
The MDA Muscle Walk would be nothing without the amazing volunteers who donate their time and talent to put together this unparalleled event to support the families fighting any of more than 40 neuromuscular diseases. Volunteers are needed for the day of the event to provide muscle for:
- Event set-up
- Registration
- Food stations
- Activity stations
- Event tear-down
Through the Muscle Walk program, you can connect and network with other people and organizations to foster hope and work "for a greater good" in the world and in your community.
The Muscle Walk will be held at Klehm Arboretum in Rockford on April 30, 2016. If you are interested being part of the team and the fun at this event, please contact Becky Svientek at achiodo@mdausa.org or 630-598-0700.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency consisting of a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.
