Chicago Foundation for Education (CFE) offers grants and professional development opportunities to Chicago Public School (CPS) teachers.

The CFE Study Group Coach Grant community review sessions are an interactive application review process that many volunteers consider one of their favorite CFE opportunities. Each session is in need of 3-4 reviewers, as we would like to see that each application is evaluated by three unique individuals. Scores, comments, and recommendations will be shared with the other volunteer reviewers in a round-table format. Lively conversation - and some snacks! - is guaranteed.

We're in need of volunteers for the following sessions:

Tues. 2.27.2018

Session 1: 9:30am-12:30pm
Session 2: 1:30pm-4:30pm

Weds. 2.28.2018

Session 3: 9:30am-12:30pm
Session 4: 1:30pm-4:30pm
Session 5: 5:30pm-8:00pm

Each Coach mentors a team ("Study Group") of 6-8 teachers ("Team Members") in learning specific teaching strategy or methodology, ultimately guiding them as they implement their focal strategy/methodology with their own students. Team Members will be selected in the spring of 2018 through a separate application process.
