Project Purple is a pancreatic cancer charity which provides funding for medical research and patient financial aid. We are hositng a 5k Steps For A Cure on May 09, 2020 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. We are in need of volunteers to help us make this a successful event! Volunteer r esponsibilities include but are not limited to: parking cars, pre-registration, day of registration, food/water, on course water stations, traffic control and course direction. We ask that all volunteers be available from 8AM -12PM.

Any and all volunteers interested in lending a helping hand the day of the event must email me with their name and numbers (in case we need to reach you on race day).

Description
Project Purple is a leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the second most common cause of cancer related deaths in the United States and has a five-year survival rate of less than ten percent. Project Purple strives to provide funds towards critical research to discover an early detection tool and offering financial aid to pancreatic cancer patients fighting this disease.
