Purpose
JASA is seeking a volunteer to lead a group of seniors through a variety of dances, providing valuable physical exercise while having fun with a lively group.
Responsibilities
* Lead a group of seniors in a weekly dance class
* Create routines suitable for varied skill levels and physical abilities
* Communicate effectively and courteously with JASA seniors and staff
Skills
* Exercise/dance certification
* Experience leading seniors in exercise/dance
* Knowledge of line and/or folk dance
* Comfortable leading a group of varying skill levels
Other
* Flexible scheduling is available with a minimum commitment of one day a week
* Ongoing opportunity, weekday availability only
* Maintain professional behavior at all times and adhere to JASA’s volunteer policies
