Health Education Marketing Volunteer - Mount Vernon

Our Mount Vernon Medical clinic is looking for a volunteer to assist with Health Education Marketing and Outreach! A volunteer taking on this role will help us out with:

Creating brochures, flyers, announcements, and other marketing material related to upcoming health education and wellness groups offered by Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Mt. Vernon, WA

Photography at health education events

Creating a monthly email with public service announcements related to health issues that many of Sea Mar’s patients are affected by as well as list of upcoming wellness events and education groups

Distributing marketing material to our community partners that are dedicated to improving the wellness of community members

Providing patient reminder calls to those who have enrolled in a wellness activity

Other activities as assigned

Qualified volunteers will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in a subject area related to marketing, or public/community health); must have their own camera, laptop, and photo editing software; and preference will be given to those who have at least one year of experience in marketing. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
