Dale Junior High School is looking for tutors to help our 7 th and 8 th grade struggling students reach their academic potential. The tutoring will take place in an after-school setting or during the school day. This is a great opportunity to explore a career, develop leadership skills, complete community service requirements, and most importantly help impact the life of struggling students.

Description

The CalPrep Mentoring Program at Dale Juniour High School is in need of mentors for 7th and 8th grade struggling students. The mentoring will take place in an after-school program that will try to foster a postive mindest towards study skills and work habits. Students in this program will also be introduced to college readiness currculium. All mentors/volunteers will attend an orientation, training, and will be supplied with all they need to be a successful mentors. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and help impact the life of struggling students.
