This opportunity is designed to help you pursue lifelong learning opportunities in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

If you are a retired educator who wants to connect kids with science and nature we have many opportunities for you! Are you interested in working with animals? Do you prefer to make things happen behind the scenes? Would you like to meet and work with other individuals who share your interests?

Volunteering provides many benefits including cultivation of community relationships, networking and professional development, and the opportunity to enrich the lives of others. Volunteers at Discovery Place, Charlotte Nature Museum and Discovery Place KIDS play a vital role in touching the lives of others while inspiring both youth and adults.
