The Salvation Army of New Orleans serves up to 170 people each night at our Center of Hope Shelter. We're looking for volunteers to help with setup starting at 3:30 p.m., serving our guests, and clean-up afterwards until about 7:00 p.m. Dinner is served nightly. Volunteers must come in to fill out a form prior to serving. Call Linda at 899-4569 Ext. 315 to set up a time.

Description
The Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans serves five parishes (Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, & St. Tammany) .
The organization provides a broad array of social services. The Center of Hope on South Claiborne Avenue has programs that feed the hungry; shelter the homeless; assist disaster victims; and provide outreach and opportunities to the elderly, underprivileged children, and families in need. The Adult Rehabilitation Center on Jefferson Highway offers social and emotional support to men and women battling addiction.
