During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Forests Forever is an environmental nonprofit based in Berkeley whose mission is to protect and enhance the forests and wildlife habitat of California through educational, legislative, and electoral activities.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, responsible volunteers to perform various administrative and campaign-related tasks. These tasks include data entry, pledge processing and charging, database management, and other office duties.
Volunteers should be able to commit to 8-12 hours a week during our office hours between 9am-4pm, Monday-Thursday, for a minimum of three months, and will receive on-the-job training, support and supervision, and valuable work experience. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn more about California’s forests and strategies in fighting to protect them, as well as learn about the legislative process and environmental/conservation issues.
If you are interested, please email your resume and availability to email@example.com.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Forests Forever was founded in 1989 during the historic campaign to save the Headwaters ancient redwood forest in Humboldt County, California. Our efforts helped galvanize the broad-based public awareness and outcry that led to that and other forest victories across the state. For more than 25 years we have been rallying Californians in defense of the state’s 17 million acres of woodland ecosystems and watersheds. We engage in year-round education, grassroots organizing and executive-branch and legislative advocacy.
