Please join me in managing the Family Involvement Center's Community Time Exchange program, a time bank system founded on global principles where members provide reciprocal services and support to one another based on actual hours/minutes engaged in helping one another, in a "pay it forward" approach - without monetary expense.

Training will be provided for processing membership applications, pre-screening (public records background and reference checks), new member set-up, managing the Facebook group and online secure database of accounts and activity (credit/debit hours and statements). Also, event coordinator for the monthly Kids Club, rotating months for the Potluck Socials or Advisory Board meetings.

This is an established time bank with processes in place just needing additional support.

Visit or our host organization for more information on the program or who we are.

Core Values of Time Banking

Human Assets
Every person, young and old, has something to offer. We all have something to contribute to the well-being of others in our community.

Redefining Work
Some work is priceless. Those who carry out essential activities (strengthening families, revitalizing neighborhoods and advancing social justice) should be appreciated and rewarded for the vital work that they do.

Giving and receiving are basic building blocks of positive social relationships and healthy communities. A one-way flow of giving is non-sustainable. We need each other. "Helping" works better as a two-way street.

Social Network
Networks are stronger than individuals and together we can weave a community of support. Belonging to a mutually supportive and secure network brings more meaning to our lives and new opportunities to build trust in one another.

Dignity and Equality
All people are valued equally, everyone is useful. At the heart of every exchange is equality; we need diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. An hour is an hour, regardless of the service provided/received.
