Join Macomb Community Action and volunteer for Walking for Warmth!
Volunteers are also needed to assist with set-up, registration, equipment check, greeting, food and beverage tables and directing runners/walkers along the route. Community service hours are availalble.
Walk for Warmth raises funds to assist low-income residents with heat related emergencies, like paying utility bills or replaceing a broken furnace. 100% of the event proceeds benefite Macomb County Residents.

Description
The focus of this division is to support the local senior community with not only food needs but also to address the needs of our growing and diverse senior population. We are widely known for its most popular program: Meals on Wheels. We have a variety of different opportunities for volunteers that include:
- Delivering Meals on Wheels
- Friendly Caller
- Spring/Fall Yard Cleanup
- Emergency Box Delivery
