The marketing intern position for Center for Independent Living is an unpaid position that will teach valuable marketing and advertising skills. The position is multidisciplinary and will require research and creativity in order to succeed. The position is a maximum 20 hours per week located in Winter Park, Florida. Travel and expense reimbursements will be provided. The internship will last for a period of one semester.
Responsibilities:
CIL’s marketing intern will be responsible for updating and maintaining customer relationship management systems (CRM’s), PPC advertising campaigns, providing collateral design input, researching vendors, researching keywords, assisting with SEO optimization, and monitoring social media.
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior attending an accredited 4-year institution
- Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, advertising and public relations, or graphic design
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Must have reliable transportation to and from CIL’s main office in Winter Park, FL
- Passion for brand marketing and communicating a positive message
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products preferred
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
