Bring some joy and compassion to a member of your community! Compassus Hospice is seeking patient support volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to terminally ill patients in the last months, weeks and days of their lives. Ways to help include: friendly visits, writing letters, reading, playing music, reminiscing, running errands or just simply holding a hand. Volunteers may also provide bereavement support to families. This is a rewarding opportunity and volunteers will learn about end of life issues.
Volunteer in your own community on a schedule that fits your availability. While many of our patients are located throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties, we have a great need for volunteers for our patients in the Quakertown and Pennsburg area.
Please also see our other specialty volunteer needs including pet therapy, music therapy and massage therapy.
