The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa is currently seeking community volunteers to serve as mentors in a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program for 6-9 year old members at the Frank J. Ross Club at Moore Elementary School. The program will run once a week, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Ross Club, beginning in early June. We’re looking for volunteers who will be able to commit to volunteering for the run of the program, would enjoy working with kids, and are interested in contributing to their community. It should be a fun opportunity to work with some great young people and engage with some fun academic subjects including Legos sports in math, and endangered species!
