Huntington's Disease Society of America is the premier nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease. From community services and education to advocacy and research, HDSA is the world’s leader in providing help for today and hope for tomorrow for people with Huntington’s disease and their families.
The Team Hope Walk program is HDSA’s signature grassroots fundraising campaign designed to provide hope and support for those touched by this devastating disease. All proceeds support HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families. Since their inception in 2007, Team Hope Walks have occurred in over 100 different cities and have raised over $7 million for the cause.
We are looking for energetic volunteers to help with the organization of the 2017 walk, which has been held in Little Rock at the Clinton Center for several years. The Arkansas walk is imperative to raising money to provide services in Arkansas each year. HDSA has an easy-to-follow guide for putting on walks, and staff trained to help!
If you are interested in working with a team to make a huge difference, please contact Tracie Lane at 817-807-2979, or tlane@hdsa.org.
