Share your love of nature with schoolchildren through hands-on exploration and non-traditional teaching techniques (that we will teach you). Volunteer naturalists conduct outdoor learning programs on topics ranging from habitat ecology to farm practices and from birds to geology and fossils. You will learn our programs and teaching methods through observation and team teaching before going out on your own. Additional natural history programs and field trips available throughout the year for free. Commitment is one program a week, typically 2 1/2 hours, from October through May. You pick the date and time that works best for your schedule. Our busiest season is October-November and March - May.
