As an official charity partner of the Marathon, we’ll be hosting a water station and providing course support at mile 3/23. We need 80 volunteers to join us as we cheer on thousands of runners/walkers to keep them hydrated and motivated.
WE will receive a generous donation for our support and YOU will have a barrel of FUN!
Date: Sunday, January 15, 2017 / 5:30 am to approximately 11:45 am
Event: 2016 Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon & Half Marathon
Location: Mile 3/23 (Corner of Carlsbad Blvd. & Carlsbad Village Dr.)
Details: This event is worth eight (8) community service hours. We'll provide you with a volunteer shirt, hot coffee, a light breakfast and lunch, and a beautiful beach sunrise.
Age: 16+ (Under 16 must have a chaperone.)

Founded in 2005 by former firefighters and community leaders, the San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation is a nonprofit public charity based in San Diego that provides first responders with the necessary funding to purchase critically needed equipment, technology, and training required to keep the property and citizens of San Diego and the surrounding region safe from the ravages of fire, natural disasters, and unforeseen injuries and illness. Tax-deductible donations to the Fire Rescue Foundation directly support the City of San Diego’s fire, lifeguard, and emergency medical services. More information can be found at www.sdfirerescue.org.
