Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will help support survivors of violence in your community? This is for you!
Volunteers provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage for our 24-hour crisis hotline. Volunteers operate out of their own homes, using their personal phones (calls are patched through from our answering service). Occasionally a volunteer may need to respond in person to assist with shelter or a forensic exam.
Sign up for the shifts that work for you! Monday-Friday shifts are from 4:30 p.m.-8:30 a.m.; Saturday, Sunday & holiday shifts are 24 hours.
Initial and ongoing training is provided.
