Friends of Mexican Animal Welfare (FOMAW) is seeking a Fundraising Project Leader, focusing on Major Gifts. We are a very small non-profit that is growing 20% a year. Purpose of the role:
Manage the Major Gift Campaigns. Engage and involve leadership donors and prospects through consistent communication and volunteer opportunities. Strategize, develop, and implement the major gift program. Assist in recruitment and development of new volunteers.
Reporting: Director of Fundraising.
Experience/Requirements:
Experience in major gift giving, or equivalent.
Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Outstanding organizational ability, with focused attention to detail and follow through.
Capacity for self-direction, with tact and diplomacy, and for working cooperatively.
Effective oral communication skills and a clear, courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated project management skills an asset.
Flexible to address unexpected requests.
Requirements: Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.

Mission Statement
The Friends mission is to facilitate and assist with animal welfare programs in order to reduce animal suffering and improve public health. These programs include, but are not limited to: spay/neuter programs; animal care education; and shelter and adoption of rescued animals.
Description
Helping Those Who Help. The purpose of Friends of Mexican Animal Welfare is to raise funds in the US and Canada to help animal welfare programs in Mexico. Additionally we operate a spay/neuter clinic in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexio that also functions as a teaching center for providing continuing education courses for Mexican veterinarians involved in spay/neuter work.
