Fun, educational, and rewarding volunteer opportunities are available with the Centerville-Washington Park District!
We are an Ohio township park district with 1,000+ acres encompassing 51 parks in the Centerville and Washington Township area. We provide excellent parks and programming to the community. We have a need for dedicated volunteers to help with nature programs, recreation programs, school outreach programs, birdbox monitoring, the park ambassador program, trail maintenance, and special events. Naturalist and/or recreation knowledge is always welcomed, but not necessary! We provide training and opportunities to shadow a naturalist or other experienced volunteers before assisting or leading any programs.
Volunteering with the Park District you will:

*Learn new skills and develop your interest in nature
*Get to know your community's parks
*Give back to your community
*Encourage outdoor play and participation
*Become a positive role model
*Join yearly trainings, field trips, and appreciation events

Opportunities exist for a variety of availability; help out as much or as little as you are able!

You don't need to be a resident of Centerville or Washington Township to volunteer.
