The Carter Burden/Lehman Village Senior Program is currently looking for volunteers to teach a group of Spanish speaking seniors English. Volunteers will assist seniors with small group conversations or one-on-one writing tutoring. Volunteer Hours are flexible. We ask that volunteers commit to teaching the class only once a week.
Our seniors are very motivated to learn and easy to talk to. Many of them never had the time to learn English and this is one amazing opportunity to give our seniors something to look forward to.
