YOUTH SPORTS COACHES NEEDED!
The City of Santa Fe Springs is looking for volunteer coaches to assist with its youth sports programs. Coaches will work with City staff to provide various sports programming such as soccer, flag football, volleyball, gymnastics, boxing, basketball, and more!
Coaches are asked to have background in at least one of the sports listed above. Youth Sports occur in 10 week seasons throughout the year, and head coaches are asked to attend 2-4 practices per week (1.5 hours each) and 1-2 games. Volunteers are required to pass a background check, including LiveScan fingerprinting.

Description
The City of Santa Fe Springs' Department of Community Services is comprised of three multidisciplinary and integrated divisions, which include the Divisions of Family & Human Services, Library & Cultural Services and, Parks & Recreation Services. In a collaborative and interdependent approach the Department of Community Services provides a wide array of program offerings and services to Santa Fe Springs residents. Most notably, the Santa Fe Springs Department of Community Services is the recipient of the 2008 Creating Community Award of Distinction from the California Park and Recreation Society, which is the highest award bestowed to a municipal community services agency state-wide.
