Managing Director
Go Heroes Inc. is seeking a high level volunteer to serve as our Managing Director working side by side with the founders, and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will be able to develop partnerships within the community, have great organizational skills and be a big picture thinker. The Managing Director will embrace the value of helping police officers, firefighters and military veterans by development of Go Heroes' strategic goals and objectives. Our ideal candidate has significant management background and is ready to give back to an up upcoming, nonprofit. Excellent leadership and organizational skills are essential.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the President of the Board
Meets with representatives of stakeholder organizations to discuss potential engagements.
Identifies opportunities and support for the organization
Manages the development of Go Heroes programs
Helps oversee budget and operational needs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or 7 years of Police/Fire/Military experience required
5 years of management experience required
Masters Degree Preferred

JOB FUNCTION: Director
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Volunteer: 10-15 hours per week. Most of the work can be done remotely. As this is a leadership position, a memorandum of understanding shall be executed.
