The Arts @ Henson-Parks, Inc. is excited to bring The Pupil Project to after school programs, and for great reason to schools challenged in offering expanded arts education. Students in grades 3-12 in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Manhattan benefit greatly from participation in our arts program The Pupil Project. It is a mobile educational initiative providing hands on instruction in digital photography, filmmaking and basic photo editing. Our program encourages participants to organically explore their surroundings and capture what they see.

Program Coordinators assist with the structure of our program delivery inside the classroom, working closely with the Photography Instructor in teaching kids grades 3-12 digital photography, videography, and basic editing. Also assisting in acquiring required materials and proper data collection (weekly attendance, permission slips, etc). THe Coordinators manage equipment distribution and collection, assist with instruction, and creating fun, relevant activities in relation to material learned. Reports to the Program Manager.

*Volunteer opportunity to salaried position, contingent on funding.
