This weekly opportunity occurs on Thursdays. Volunteer tasks include patching and repairing walls, furniture repair and assembling, light plumbing repair, touch up painting, light outdoor yard tasks, and troubleshooting a wide range of home repair needs. Previous experience with home fix-it a plus. Operations Manager will provide a list of needed repairs and issues each week and will provide any tools, materials, paint, or other supplies necessary.

Description
Whether it's greeting guests, leading arts & crafts classes or baking cookies, volunteers create a loving "home away from home" for families. "Meals from the Heart" volunteers create delicious treats for guests, and our Children’s Program volunteers lead playtime activities for children offering respite to parents of seriously ill children.
