Help with the crucial, behind-the-scenes work that gets LoveWay through every day! LoveWay's Barn Team is the volunteers who help feed horses, turn horses in and out, keep hay mangers filled and water buckets cleaned, and make sure the barn is swept and clean. The Barn Team works to keep LoveWay's barn tidy and keep the therapy horse herd fed and healthy. We have a need for Barn Team volunteers every day of the year through rain, snow, and sunshine!
Our greatest need is during feeding times: 7:30-9 a.m. daily and 3:30-5 p.m. daily. Many Barn Team members choose to give their time during one or more feedings on the same day each week. Interested volunteers must be at least 16 years old, but do not need to have horse experience. LoveWay's staff is happy to teach you the skills that you'll need.

Description
Focusing primarily on therapeutic horseback riding in small group classes for nearly 50 years, LoveWay, Inc. is one of the oldest therapeutic riding centers for children with disabilities in Indiana. Located in the rolling, wooded hills between Bristol and Middlebury, the 30-acre facility offers comprehensive class semesters twice a year, in the spring and fall, in addition to summer camp opportunities.
