Nursing and caring for new born Kittens until they are able to be S/N and deemed adoptable in your home as well as caring for babies eating on their own until ready for adoption. We are in great need of foster homes now so they can be placed as we get them in. If Interested in fostering or volunteering, this is needed in the Western New York Area. Preferable South towns- Orchard Park, Blasdell,West Seneca, Hamburg, Lakeview, Orchard Park, Cheektowaga, Depew, Lackawanna, East Aurora or in close proximity to these towns.

Events on hold due to pandemic but you can sign up to volunteer a few hours/ few days or whatever is convenient for you when events will start up again. Volunteers can work at one or more of our numerous events held various places and date(s) throughout the year. The events consist of adoption events, hot dog roasts, carnivals, craft shows to name a few. Please leave a contact phone number and we will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you

It is our commitment to save as many lives as we can and to prevent the unneccesary pain and suffering these Cats/Kittens would otherwise edure, being left cold, homeless, hungry, forgotten and scared.

Description

Piece of Heaven Kitten Adoption is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit, no-kill organization formed to reduce the feral population in western New York.

Our dedicated volunteers are passionate in providing proper medical care and good nutrition while providing a safe, loving foster home to reside in until deemed adoptable. We then screen potential adopters to assure they will provide a forever safe and loving home that they so richly deserve.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 25
  • If fostering..varies depending on how old the Kitten is when it arrives in our care and volunteers for working events , we work with your schedule.
  • Knowledge of Cat/Kitten care for fostering. We are asking volunteers for working events to be dedicated to helping us in our mission to save lives. You may commit to working as many events as you want and times you depending on your availability..
