When a client is diagnosed with cancer, the last thing they need to worry about is how to get treatment. As a volunteer driver for theCancerCenter you will drive clients who qualify to and from cancer treatment. All you need is a good driving record, current car insurance, a reliable car, and a little time.
Another outstanding volunteer opportunity is driver coordination. The driver coordinator is the middle person between the Cancer centers, the clients that need transportation and the volunteers who are will to do the transporting. The coordinator will help coordinate the trips between the clients and the volunteers and they will be trained to do the job in an effective and positive mannerMore opportunities with DEBBIE TURNER CANCER CARE RESOURCES INC

Description
The Center provides free services and items to individuals affected by cancer and their families. Services include: transportation to and from appointments, assistance finding treatment, salon services, support groups, education. Items include: wigs, bras,prosthetics, scarves, hats, robes, nightgowns, slippers, sheets, blankets,pillows, books, magazines, personal hygiene products, makeup and nutritional items.
