Volunteer at the Pearson Field Education Center's Open Saturday Program.
This free aviation and STEM-based educational experience is open to the public every Saturday from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to assist guests with the Flight Simulator lab, the vertical wind tunnel, the glider-building station and the balloon-powered car station. These ongoing educational programs propel students of all ages into the wonderful world of flight, aviation, science, technology, engineering and math. Come experience the Golden Age of Aviation at the first airport in the Pacific Northwest and one of the oldest continuously operating airfields in the country. If you think you may be interested in volunteering, come down for a visit and see what we’re about. Visit PFEC where play and learning is always FUN!
