Dog On Phone

The Animal Rescue League of NH is looking to improve our customer service, and we need your help! People reach out to the League for a variety of reasons; they need to surrender an animal, they want to adopt an animal, they want to donate resources, and more. In order to serve our community as effeciently as possible, we are looking for volunteer Adminsitrative Greeters. These volunteers would be the face and voice of the League. They would answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate departments. They would welcome guests during our non-adoption hours, page staff as needed, and accept item donations to the League. We are looking for some friendly, professional faces to help us help our community!

We would love to have a volunteer who has previous phone and customer service experience, but we will train any appropriate, interested volunteers. This position is a great opportunity to grow your resume with highly transferable, hirable skills. Also, everyone loves animals, so it would make a great talking point during future job interviews.

Needed hours for this position are:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00am-4:00pm

We are not open for adoption/animal visits during these hours, so part of this position would include explaining this to members of the public who enter the building for these reasons. We will train you on the wording and reasons to provide.

We prefer volunteers for this position to be able to commit at least 4 hours a week, but this is flexible.

If you are interested and available, please contact us today!
