Do you have a desire to serve your community? The American Heart Association has an immediate need for a volunteer to assist our office manager with a variety of administrative tasks in our Arlington, VA office.
Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, mailings, data entry, maintaining office supplies and conference rooms, copying, document preparation, mail distribution and general office support. Duties may also include projects in support of special events.
Qualifications: Minimum one year, office administrative support experience or some college preferred. Must possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, email and basic Internet applications required.
Schedule is flexible. Ideal candidate is available to work 2 or more days per week for several hours between 10am and 3pm Monday through Friday. We are conveniently located just 4 blocks from the Ballston Metro, near a wide variety of eateries and other services.
