Lead walking tours of historic Old Town Tacoma for elementary school students who visit Job Carr Cabin Museum on field trips.

School field trips are typically held on weekday mornings in spring and fall. The walking tour is less than 1 mile and takes about 45 minutes to complete. You'll lead groups of 20-30 students and chaperones on a neighborhood history walk, bringing to life a busy frontier town.

You'll assist Museum staff in providing a fun, interactive field trip experience for 3rd and 4th graders. We'll provide information and training. No experience necessary.

We welcome volunteers of ages, interests and skills levels. Volunteers with background in education, history and/or customer service are strongly encouraged to apply. You must be reliable, with excellent attendance, promptness and courteous behavior. All volunteers must complete a volunteer application form and successfully pass a security background check. http://www.jobcarrmuseum.org/
