Do you want to do something new and gain new skills?
Do you want to spend just one hour getting to know a student who needs your help?
If you said yes...then you will definitely want to consider becoming a Reading Coach with HIKE this school-year!
HIKE Reading Coaches give students the keys to their success by helping them learn to read! What an awesome way to make a difference.
Phoenix Family serves children, families, and seniors living in low-income housing. Our HIKE Reading Labs take place over the summer from Noon to 2:00 pm and after-school Monday-Thursday between 4:30 and 6:30pm. Reading Coaches work one-on-one with students for 45 minute sessions once a week to help improve reading ability for our students grades K-8.
